Default Two Safety issues in Aktiv and Ecotrek

Thanks for your help finding regulatory authorities. RVIA should help get these hazards fixed too.
The safety code violations descriptions are in laymen's form so owners can understand the risk.

IIRC, the water tank has its own relief valve. Is that correct?

I agree the location of the added relief valve makes no sense.

No internal relief valve. I talked to turma and they agree the installation is wrong. Truma's Yellow drain valve is a safety relief valve but Hymer installed it outside of the valve too.

There is no internal relief valve. I talked to turma and they agree the installation is wrong. Truma's Yellow drain valve is a safety relief valve but Hymer installed it outside of the valve too.

Yes. Could go bang. The same stuff is posted in the this groups electrical section. Lots of good discussion there. I guess plumbing going bang is not as exciting. The reality is that uncontrolled release of steam is deadly. My dad was full of scary power plant stories.
