Re number 7, it is likely that the "surround/vehicle" switch is miswired, as ours was from the same era. I have read about quite a few others from then that had the same issues. We had a couple of dead speakers because of it. There are a lot of tiny wire connections on that switch, and Roadtrek will not give you the wiring diagram so you can fix it. It took me half a day to figure out what to do.

Booster,
Thanks. Our speakers did work with certain DVDs but we rarely used the front ones and the DVD itself was failing so took the path of least resistance. I could add a device (do not recall what it is called but my son-in-law knows)that would amplify the signal and send to all speakers for about $80 but am satisfied with this for now. The Blu Ray player was pretty inexpensive too and I made wiring to TV simpler compared to what RT had in stalled

Finally installed our new tv bracket so we could rotate the current 24” standard tv in portrait mode. They really have simply installed a 19” so this wouldn’t be necessary.

The mount was from monoprice ($24 delivered). I reused 2 existing holes and plugged the third. This mount feels a pound or two lighter. We watch tv seldom so this gets it out of the aisle for us. IMG_3971.jpg
