Default fuel octane

Is it necessary to use premium fuel, i will be on flat interstate, no hills, pulling aluminun 14 ft boat, at the most, boat and trailer will weight 1000 lbs, owners manual is very confusing, Rialta will be very light, just me and a 15 lb westie, i am leaning towards midgrade, any thoughts would be appreciated..Jerry

The Rialta will still run great without premium fuel ....the computer will adjust timing acordingly ....

on fllat grounds the difference is negligable .....I always run on regular gas ...because in my region the cost of premium is much pricier then regular ....
