Default Newbie iso accessible Rialta info

Hi all,
New guy here in VA. I am a wheelchair user and am interested in an accessible Rialta. I think (stress on the think) Winnebago called them Ability Equipped. Does anyone have one or know anything about them?

I understand they came with a wider door and a ramp and were the a modified HD floorplan. Based on my expeience with accessible vehicles (more than 30 yrs), the door is the important part, most of the rest can be done by an installer. The first thing i would ask is what years as the VR6 sounds like a much better engine.

Anyway, any information anyone could provide would be helpful.

Thanks in advance

I found this info from 2004
http://www.rialtainfo.com/model_info...ippedBroch.pdf

The 2004 model would have the 201hp VR6 motor.

Good luck in your search!
I don't think I've seen too many listed for sale.

wow, that is awesome.

I'd try the rialta heaven people in yucaipa california. I have not used them- but I see plenty of VW's when I drive by.

Thanks guys,

I saw the brochure which I found right after I remembered they existed.

I sent Pop Top Heaven an email. It is weird, lots of sites and posters refer to Rialta Heaven in Yucaipa. The website says Pop Top Heaven and there was this place in Indiana. Rialta Heaven Inc. | RV Business . maybe gone now, that article is 7 years old.

Thanks again!
John

are you needing the ability to have someone in a wheelchair enter and exit the coach?
Since the standard door is 26" wide, we actually use a Roll A Ramp portable ramp for my wife's mobility issues. She is not wheelchair bound, but requires a no step entry.

Yep, I am a full-time wheelchair user so I need the whole shebang. I have sent an inquiry to Winnebago in an attempt to find out how many were built and what years.
