Default Traction in snow

My wife and I are looking at a Rialta to use as a "ski mobile". We want to be able to spend a month driving around the Rockies and the Sierras going to various ski resorts, staying in the parking lots. We live in Vermont so we can drive in snow in our sleep and would put top of the line studded snow tires on it as well as having chains just in case. Does anyone out there have any experience doing this? Thanks.

My only concern would be that the Rialta sits quite low !

doesnt need much snow to get stuck !

You would have to keep it winterized too!,

You will have problem putting on chains so you should use cable type chains on the front drive wheels. The Rialta has a 45% front to 55% rear weight ratio. I have seen a R that got stuck on wet grass because of this ratio.

On the Gold Rialta paint there are no strips, only the Rialta name in matching color. Go to this site and look up paint for model unit 2004. www. rialtainfo.com You will find how the paint was used and where the name was placed on the body.
