Yeah.
They are amazing!
Heat up super fast,no wasted energy in transfer of heat from burner to pan.
Can use indoors safely in a confined space. Take it out side when it's nice.
No scorched black bottoms to scrub. No matches to carry. No worries in the wind.
As for the quartz light........you must have bought the DELUXE version!
NICE!
Cheers mate.

For us, the need for an induction cooktop is essentially zero. Too much dependent on electric power, can't match the flavor of cooking on a good gas or charcoal grill, etc. We have a propane Fold-N-Go for the rare occasion we need a stove type burner (never really use the stovetop in the van), and everything else is done on the Magma gas grille or in the microwave. For us, it would just sit in the drawer. You just can't make a good marinated chicken breast on an induction burner like you can on a propane or charcoal grille. And brats, no contest

Granted......
Nothing beats anything cooked on the grill. Shark tacos, blackened redfish,or grilled grouper! Nothing better!
But sometimes it's too much trouble. And at other times the weather makes cooking outside miserable ! And in Florida the heat and bugs drives us inside too often.
Then! The induction burner is hard too beat!
A time and a place for everything.
Cheers mate happy camping!
