Default Winnebago Paseo

Hey Rob,

I'm seriously looking at a 2018 Winnebago Paseo used

What has been your experience with yours ?

Some post feeling there's no inverter, others say there is a 1000 W inverter.

What can you run off the AGM batteries and for how long before the noisy generator is required ?

Thanks in advance.

Default I'm so sorry

I'm so sorry I didn't see your post before now. I haven't been on in awhile. I don't know if you made a decision about the Paseo but I just sold mine and I"m looking for my next rig. I enjoyed the Paseo for it's wonderful 3.5 twin turbo motor and 16 mpg. I hated the Paseo for it's odd shaped bed and lack of separate eating/lounge area. I didn't see the lack of inverter as a problem for me, I bought a harbor freight cheapo for the few times I needed AC power w/o being on shore power. I got two years out of the lead acid deep cycles that came with the coach.. not AGM. They are incredibly inconvenient to service, up underneath the sliding door area. You can only run the waterpump/lights, awning, TV/music on the house batteries. The microwave/AC require that beast of a generator or shore power. I got into a habit of just having external USB batteries charged while driving to keep the laptop charged while boon docking.

Again, sorry for the late response.

Default Shopping

I haven't decided on the next coach. I'm on the fence between a cheap-used class C to beat up, modify and not stress the payment...or top of my budget the Pleasure-way Ascent... I really like their 6 year warranty and I don't think they'll pull a Roadtrek on us but who knows. I'm really suspicious of the entire RV industry so much junk out there. I don't have the budget or patience for a full custom build like Sportsmobile or ADV but that's probably the answer.

What are you thinking? What's on your shortlist?
