That is real nice!!

We are buying a Safari Condo XL Flex based on the smaller Promaster chassis that can carry 4 bikes under the queen sized bed, totally out of view too.
The XL flex also has the ability to carry our 8 foot long tandem bike for day trips. (there's a slide out panel a the front of the bed so the bike can slide from the back partially into the aisle)

? Smaller Promaster. Are you getting the typical 21 ft Promaster XL Flex?

Oh my goodness, did I really see???? A kitchen (what there is of it) on the driver's side of the van......in an ARV.

I think someone needs to have a talk with them about such blasphemy, and how silly that is!!!!!

Ah, come on. The issue isn't literally having the galley on the driver's side--that is just a tag line. The problem is having a huge wall of shower and closet blocking the view of the campsite. The ARV van has no shower and panoramic windows. It is a far cry from the Roadtrek "cave".

Me thinks Mr Booster is simply yanking a few chains with his tongue firmly planted in his cheek...

Maybe someone who traded in his Roadtrek and hadn't fully acclimatized yet to good design.

This one seems like a one-off active style van and even in the video it was described as a weekender. I'm not sure you can call it a true Class B for extended touring in the way we do it.

I've seen some campsites that would make this more like a blessing than a problem.

That is a rather poorly made video. Too much talking and too tight of a shot dwelling too long with not enough context of the surroundings. Anyway it was a Class A parking lot. What do you expect?

You meant Especially with a KOA, right?

If you are going to camp in that kind of place, you should cover all your windows with big flat-screen TVs.

I'll stick with National Forest dispersed camping, thank you.

Wow awesome. I am glad to see an ARV 144. Personally I would go closer to their regular layout just shorter. Similar to a PW Ascent build by ARV would be great for us. Also like the idea of space behind the bed for a bike or folding kayak. Wouldn't need space for 4 but cool to see that on a 144. Shows to me that it's best to call ARV with your ideas; assuming of course you have the budget for one.

I was hoping to see how they were going to store four bikes in the back. The area didn't look deep enough to me. Amazing what additional features Safari Condo can include in the Promaster XL Flex (a van only 14 inches longer).

Default 144 arv

We actually spoke with ARV about building us essentially an Agile/Ascent on a 144" The primary reason in going with a 144 for us was this:

We can pull it into our condo garage that has a rather high entry-way. We got 20% of a 2017 Agile ($150 for $120) and although I would much have preferred one from ARV it just didn't make financial sense to us in a short van. If we enjoy this perhaps 5-10 years we will be living in a different place and then get a 170 and then the diff in price might make more sense to us.
