Default My Video Review of the 2017 Pleasure Way Ascent

Hey everyone. I just did a video review of my new 2017 Pleasure Way Ascent. There's 3 parts (sorry) as YouTube only allows me to create 15 minute videos. Please let me know what you think!

Nice ride! Cabinetry looks first rate and the multiplex wiring is definitely the way to go.

Let us know how well the Rayzar signal seeking TV antenna works.

Studies found that...

most people have an attention span of not more than 3 minutes.
That's why most of the music or short films are around 3 minutes long.

If the subject is important and the viewer is interested,
the audience will stay up to 10 minutes long.

Only academic studies can survive a length of over 10 minutes.

Youtube provides statistics on where the viewers drop out.
It will be an interesting feedback for you.

.

I enjoyed the review.
Like you said, most of the videos on Youtube are salesman walkthroughs.
It is good to hear a user review based on real-life experiences.

I hope the RV manufacturers are watching and taking heed of your feedbacks.

Thanks.

Congrats on you new P/W. I really like their attention to detail and it shows immediately. Ron

The Winegard works great as long as you're stationary. It picks up and boosts a lot of channels. It would be the ultimate if it could lock onto signals while moving. My daughter likes to watch PBS Kids while we're on a trip but if I take a turn then she will inevitably lose the signal.

Thanks BBQ. I hope they are listening too. I sent it off to Grant at Pleasure Way. I think it's important for them to hear what owners are saying and they seem to be interested.

I think the Rayzar antenna is really cool but I don't think any OTA antenna will provide consistent results while in motion. I imagine that the Rayzar search and selection sequence is a one shot without followup. Even if there is in motion capability you would probably lose video during a follow up search. Reliable reception while driving probably requires an in motion satellite setup which only a few B builders offer as an option.

Just discovered your videos. They are really excellent. I learned a lot and you pointed out features I had never considered such as the Truma water heater and the attention to detail. Thanks for making them.

Well done! I watched all three and am thinking about purchasing a either a Roadtrek 190 Popular, or the Pleasureway Ascent. You made a great case for the Ascent.
