Default Another DIY air conditioning on battery power

Ran across this video. It's an interesting project - looks like he can get 3 or 4 hours on this setup. Nothing I'd want to do, but it's interesting none-the-less.

That must be a pretty small and/or efficient A/C--drawing something like 600 watts. My 11,000 BTU unit takes twice that. I have similar battery capacity, and I can run the A/C for about 2 hours before getting to 50% SOC. So, stipulating the tiny A/C, his results and mine are consistent.
