Purchasing observations

I have been purchasing all the equipment for my build prior to start I I noticed most all the suppliers and venders that had the lowest price were not in California, where I live. I have ordered from Germany-WEBASTO, Portugal- seat swivels, Florida -Refridgerator, China-hardwware, fasteners, tools, Utah- lithium batteries, Arizona- Generator,solar etc.... and much from Amazon. I believe I have saved a minimum of $5K out of the $20K I've spent so far on this build just by shopping online and not in CA. I noticed the venders are nicer too. I noticed traveling around the USA in my last RV, the closer you got to the west coast, the less friendly people seem to be. Looking forward to completing my build and escaping Ca for a while.

I also live in Cali and find nice people everywhere. I also find A-holes but not for very long . I just deal with them and move on.
