Default Shelf over cab in Plateau

Here's a modification that we made (actually, we had a conversion place make it for us) This shelf over the cab is a handy place for cell phones, cameras, wallets etc. Someone looking into the van from outside can't see what's up there.

Neat and handy idea! Looks factory built and installed. What is the crank in the ceiling for?

The shelf was built for us by Waldoch Conversions in Forest Lake MN. They do all kinds of van conversions. The crank is for extending the Winegard TV antenna. (I think we've used it maybe twice in 2.5 years....)

If I remember right, it was around $750.00. They also installed some new speakers into the shelf for us (included in that price). We were not happy with the sound system provided by Dodge. The new speakers helped alot.
