Default Stereo upgrade Promaster

Pulled out the cheap stereo and put in a nice one since the cheap one couldn't handle 4 ohm speakers. A 10" powered marine subwoofer fits perfect under the seats and you can get some hefty 6x9"s in the overhead bin area. Put a couple of some polk 4" speakers in the back. Sounds great. Ordered some good 6.5" speakers for the doors. The factory speakers look like they cost $3. Lots of trim work left in the overhead areas to do so it looks like another trip for some more mahogany.

We have CNC machined expanded PVC adapters that you can use for the door speakers. They position your new speaker at a slight upward angled like the OEM speakers.

FYI, the type of multi-connector I used, that long plastic one in the photo, I would not use again. The brass inserts strip easy and are a pain to replace, in place. I try to insure everything I instal can be removed without cutting wires. Most everything else I used Screw Terminal Strips which are stronger .
