I saw a post by Jim that seems to indicate Hymer will be offering other RV classes/types at some point. That's exciting also.
I've sure they'll want to co-mingle their figures. Will be interesting to see if RVIA or RV Business allows it. WGO may have a lot of sway in that considering the number of RVIA stickers they buy and the amount of print and web advertising purchased.

Did both the Winnebago and Itasca sales get lumped together?

I suppose you could start reporting sales under Erwin Hymer Group...

The Class B Facebook group disappeared for me today, are there problems with it or did you send me away for some reason...

Greg

The Class B Facebook is up and I did a search for your name and it returns as greyed out. May need to request access again...

Doesn't show up for me, maybe Ron has given me the heave ho and put a block on me...

Maybe he will respond or just ignore me completely, we shall see...

Roadtrek is just a model name now. I would think Roadtrek and Hymer would be lumped together as one company in the future as Hymer Group NA no different than Thor which is really Airstream. Pleasure-way came back into the listings as I assume their Class B sales once again passed into a reporting threshold of maybe 10% or more. February all adds up to 98% now leaving little for others in the overall market. There really aren't any significant others.

It's official, I have the distinction of being kicked out of both Mike Wendland and Wincrashers Facebook groups. What do I need to do to get kicked out of this forum to make it a Trifecta??

Greg,

Mike Wendland encouraged me to join Roadtreking:The Group when I was at his Winter Freezeout rally.

I'm not sure what you had to do to get kicked out of Class B Camper Vans. Wincrasher is a bit iconoclastic himself and tolerant.

A lot of us get a bit "aggressive" at times.

I notice you are doing fine on Mike's group, just avoid giving your honest opinion on the differences between your van and a Roadtrek and you will be OK...

I am sure Wincrasher has his version of what happened. From my view, I stood up for a newbie who was being riducled for asking a simple question about the awning on his Roadtrek and then I invited the newbie over to the Roadtrek Owners Group to get help in a less caustic environment. No regrets on my part for what I did...

Well if it's so caustic, then I don't know why you'd want back in.

Caustic comments don't bother me but lots of newbies are not going to appreciate them. But, then again, maybe those people are not your target demographic for the group.

I don't recall even asking to be reinstated, it was Gerry who asked, not me. No reason to be there if I bother your sensibilities so much, I can live happily without being there to add my 2 cents to the discussions...

I'm just following Mike Wendland's small motorhome lifestyle group rules. I'm not there to poach business. I've survived in the Pleasure-way group as well. I didn't survive the Class B group that quickly devolved into a Class C group.

Following Mike's rules didn't make any difference in my case, he booted me for something I posted here...

I have a happy home helping people over on the Roadtrek Owners Group but I am not likely to ever buy another Roadtrek or even another Class B. All the other groups are not that important to me. Currently considering an Earth Cruiser or a XP Camper V1 pop top on a flatbed 4x4 pickup for our next vehicle, something more rugged than a Class B...

I've said enough here as well to the point of having Campskunk block me from reading his posts long before I joined Wendland's group or had any interaction with him anywhere. I even let Wendland take a picture of me in a Roadtrek watch cap to give to Campskunk. I don't know if he did.

Count me in as one who is amazed about this never-ending class b sales party. Is it interest rates being so low? Baby boomer take-off? The Trump Effect?

I'm waiting for the market to turn downwards to pick up a Class B at the bottom of the trough when buyers are few and owners are deleveraging.

Now that someone has a massive boat and is living large, I'm waiting for a hardly used Travato with upgrades to be sold off for an airplane or something at a steal.
