Special note re: newer Roadtreks with Tripp Lite inverter

If you have the factory installed Tripp Lite inverter and if it was left with the switch on "Auto" you would use 30 amps in 24 hours!

Inverter 24 hrs @ 1.25 = 30 amps

On the Tripp Lite inverter there is a 3 position switch. The choices are: Charge only, Off or Auto (inverter on + charging if plugged in). Remember to set it to Charge only when you are not using the inverter.

If you have a remote switch you have 2 choices: Charge only or Auto (inverter on + charging if plugged in). You can buy a remote switch to make it easier to switch from Auto to Charge only. Here's a link to making your own switch:

I never knew a single 1156 bulb used that much power. Never saw any specs on them

I just googled 1156 lamp amps and the first two sites I checked show 2.1 amps for a 1156 bulb!
