Need door for spare tire 96 model

found a place to order a door but they wanted $750.00 for it cause they had to make it.. made me a templet out of wood and used it to cut a metal door.. Looks as good as it did originally.. Thank you...

has anyone ever added an extra fuel tank to a rialta.. My spare is in the back door compartment.. so there seems to b room where the spare would go under the back.. Any thoughts on this anyone..

Thanks Duane, I know about them but cant find anyone with the adapter.. Do you know any where I might buy an adapter.. Or even buy a code reader that would read the codes aND TELL ME WHAT THE CODES...

I have a 1996 rialta with the 2.5 engine.. the 5 cylinder.. It has always run great with no problems.. It has always amazed me how it did on hills and the freeways.. But now the check engine light...

I used color back on mine that u can buy at any auot parts and wal mart.. Its a wax with compound in it.. its a lot of rubbing but it will make a differance..

Power steering making noise

I have a 96 rialta and the power steering is always sounding like its low on fluid.. Do these have a filter on them??? Or does anyone know what to do for this.. Its just annoying.. Thanks Herb

Sinced i have unwinterized my rialta.. When I turn my pump on to use the water from the fresh water tank it starts pumping it out the city hose hook up.. Is this normal?? never had it do it before.....

trying to find the OBD port on 1996 Rialta that has a 1995 engine

tthere is no obd port on the 96.. U do have a 2 wire computor hook up in the fuss area on driver side inde the rialta.. believe me I searched every aspect to find one and VW finaly told me there isnt...
