Perhaps PJ is better off on this since he has a 170 rather than a 190, and the wheelbase is 20" shorter (135" rather than 155"). Don't know for sure but I suspect that GM didn't change the steering...

There are different foams. I'd use the foam that is made for doors and windows. It is specifically formulated to not expand much and bind the doors and windows, so probably a better bet here.
