We've been using our old sleeping bags from our tenting days (not the mummy type). We turn them inside out and let them air well, and we take a really good shower when we get back home. After all,...

Plateau Sprinter heater question

We have a 2011 Pleasure-way Plateau Mercedes Sprinter. My question is about the heater in the cab. The A/C works fine, as does the defroster. But we have yet to figure out how to get heat coming...

Re: Pet poo flags

Wouldn't it just be easier to carry a sandwich bag in your pocket at all times rather than dealing with a flag with its cumbersome metal stick?

I also have a nylon gizmo that fits over the handle...

Re: Propane Leak? Ran out of Propane? You decide!

I'd choose B as well, Teach.

And when do we get the answer? :)

Re: Fridge out - Pleasure-Way

Rick, I'm glad our posts have been helpful to someone. It's all very confusing to me. If you've read other threads, you saw we've had more circuit breaker problems, in the dead of night with only a...

Re: Waterproof bath window covering/Sprinter

Chalk this up to poor marital communication. :)

When I mentioned to my husband that we needed to contact our dealer to get a bath window cover, he said we had one and he had put it with all...

Re: Pleasure-Way new model - Pursuit

We could get 12 mpg in our Coachmen B+, if we were on a flat freeway and didn't use the AC. Ours was more like 24' long, and had a slide-out. We're getting almost 20 mpg in the Plateau.

Re: Waterproof bath window covering/Sprinter

I'm assuming by "plug" you mean electric outlet. I'm sure we'll never use that either. My husband's razor is cordless, it holds a charge for a week, and if he had to recharge he would tend to do it...

Thanks, Davydd. We'll check with our dealership.

Waterproof bath window covering/Sprinter

I finally unfurled our shower curtain, which covers the bathroom door and the lavatory. However, it does not reach around farther to cover the window, with its fabric curtain. There appear to be...

Re: New Leisure Travel Free Spirit SS with a slide out

Has anyone tried the sofa bed in these B's?

We had a B+ with a sofa bed so incredibly uncomfortable that we had to trade.

I wouldn't buy one without trying to spend an entire night on the bed.

Re: More P-W Plateau Woes

Thanks to both Mark and Teachergal for your responses. My husband found we have 4 (not 2 or 3) reset buttons, pushed the one that was tripped, and we're back in business. Wish we'd known that last...

More P-W Plateau Woes

Last night our one-night camping trip was cut short by house battery problems. We had been on the road four or five hours, so the battery should have been fully charged. We ran the generator long...

Re: Fridge out - Pleasure-Way

Everybody: Disregard my previous posts about where the reset buttons are located. My husband was VERY confused.

The small projection on the right side of the upper left pole (in your photograph)...

Re: Fridge out - Pleasure-Way

Markopolo, ours is not like the photo you posted. We don't have the labels (how convenient!) and the posts with the circuit breaker on it are single posts with single wires attached to them by the...

Re: 2011 Sprinter Check Engine Light

Boy, you spend tens of thousands of dollars for what you think is the state of the art B, and then your check engine light goes on and/or your fridge goes out. I'm beginning to wonder... :(

Re: Fridge out

SECOND UPDATE: The repair still cost us $60+ because it was considered an owner issue. The refrigerator was not defective or broken, so Norcold wasn't responsible, and P-W likewise wasn't...

Re: Fridge out

UPDATE: It took about two weeks, but we finally got in for our fridge appointment. It was an easy 15-minute fix, but we hadn't seen anything in the owner's manual about it. The mechanic showed my...

Re: Fridge out

It's not working on propane, battery, or electric. We managed to find a dealer to look at it, but not for another couple of weeks. And that's almost two hours away. We've decided my husband will...

Fridge out - Pleasure-Way

The fridge went out in our 3-month-old 2011 P-W Plateau. Any ideas on what to do? Surely it's under warranty, but we are 1,000 miles from where we bought it.

Re: Dogs and Record High Temps

We usually let our small dog ride up front with us. She curls up on the floor between us where she's kept cool by the van a/c. We don't generally run the coach a/c while driving, but then we don't...

Almost 20 years ago I ordered a B from Sportsmobile in Austin, TX. I was very pleased with it. I know you are going to enjoy yours as well.

Re: Bought new P-W Plateau

Adlai, we've had that table leg problem a couple of times. We just kept twisting and turning it, pulling it to one side then the other, until it finally came out.

The table is not terribly...

Re: Bought new P-W Plateau

Nice looking rig. I especially like the spare on the back. You must have lots of room under the sofa for storage.

Our bathroom door latch worked perfectly when we got it, but once in the dry...

Re: What are you doing?

This morning I had a home visit from a nurse interviewing me for a long-term care policy I'm considering buying. My blood pressure, which is always spot on, was extremely high, like 164/110, even...
