Yup, that's a good thing but in my Axion, the bed runs along the driver's side, I find it more comfortable to sleep with my head a little higher than my feet. :)

Yup, 120VAC at cord input, 0VAC showing input on inverter/charger led display. All 120VAC outlets work on inverter until batts run out. I was just assuming 4-5 weeks as it has to go through customs....

yes for both but with shore power, inverter must also be on. Inverter doesn't need to be on when driving, at least that's what "How To" for Ecotrek says.
