I'm not familiar with the system, but 3.5V is seriously low.
I think it's a 12V system - meaning the lithium batteries are ~12V. If so, 3.5 is way too low to run anything.

That's one of the reasons I like the Volta system... use a 56V alternator and you need much less current. Using 12V alternators for lithium systems baffles me... you'd need giant wires and there...
