The slinky or hose is stored behind a locked door. It is free flowing and no macerator. I prefer it this way. Simple and nothing to go wrong.

Re: Selling the C - mixed emotions

I can't see the ad for some reason so I can't see the price or the the MH itself. I will tell you when selling anything you never point out the negatives. I don't see the gas mileage as a negative...

Re: Boondocking in Cold Weather

Yes you should add RV antifreeze in the holding tank for the winter. Your gates (empty/close pull) have seals or gaskets regardless trailer/class a/b/c.

Re: Boondocking in Cold Weather

Hi again Tonto. Just remember if you decide to use the interior tank you will need to winterize your rig again with the rv antifreeze. Like I said before...it is easier to use a portable water jug...

Re: Is it getting harder for "Canucks" to pay at the pump?

Postal code with zeros didn't work for me. I push the help button and say I am from Canada. They say pump and come in to pay when you are done. Maybe because I am pulling a trailer or driving a...

I belong to a site for us "all season" campers. The website is www.4scf.com (https://www.4scf.com) and is full of winter camping information. If you are only going for a weekend each time I would make...

Got my exercise today

So today I exercised my genny. The genny should be exercised or used under load at least once a month. I start the genny and plug in a heater to load it or make it exercise. Just wondering what...

Re: 5.4 L Ford engine

That is a great engine. Several F150's with a ton af mileage on them. I have the V10 in my PW but would not hesitate buying one with the 5.4.

Re: Front facing bike rack

You can have a hitch installed on the front and use a regular bike rack. I would suggest a rack that supports the bikes by the wheels.

Re: Modify or build?

First off welcome to the site. I read through your post three times to figure out what you should do. It sounds like you want to continue to tent camp but have an issue with storage. I know a friend...

I was the guy that answered the poll a long time ago by saying I would never get a generator. I now have one in the 2010 PW Excel and things have changed. We travel so much now that I would not be...

I agree with booster. Something is not right. After 5 hours of travel you should have a full charge even with the fridge on DC.

Re: money pit?

First off I hope you didn't need a planner to tell you that. I don't know your finances or if you can afford a Class B. Is it a good financial investment??? Heck no. Is a car? A meal at a restaurant?...

Re: Roadtrek Water Pump is noisy (groaning) when in use

What you hear (the groan) is normal. When you turn the tap on the pump will cycle on and off building pressure.

Hi Dan,

You said the poles came of the ground? You need to stake the arms or use tent pegs to hold it down. Our Pleasureway awning (Fiama) I am sure is like yours and has an additional support...
