We prefer bottled water for drinking and cooking. I clean the holding tank several times during the summer but only use it for dishes, showers and for the "head".

Usually outside with a Weber Propane Grill but last trip to Pa. it poured all day so we successfully cooked a big pot of Chicken and potatoes on the propane stove. Do prefer to cook outside though.
