Volt meter

Used a hole saw for a round LED volt meter in the panel with the other indicators. Also for a momentary push button to activate the VM. Attached the + to one of the fuse terminals and the - to ground.

Consider yourself fortunate. Fuel pumps are available with different pressure outputs.
If it is to high for the carburetor it may run rich or flood. Too low, and it will run lean or surge.

I removed the OE receptacle and could see the cable went straight up.
So, I took a deep breath, said a little prayer, and hole sawed the hole for the new exterior...
