We have to agree with Davydd about the bathroom (wasted) space use, only more so. We have the aisle shower with the toilet facing the aisle. The shower takes zero space as it is the aisle anyway,...

We think the same way, and have put in a permanent bed that is totally clear underneath, with no supports, and hinged access in the front. Here is a link about permanent beds. Ours is a few posts...
