we looked at a 2002 yesterday down in St' Pete Florida. AWESOME!!! Chinook company folded in 2004 but that's the target B plus we seek. Born Free is very similar design. but have not inspected...

it's a win win I believe. if I got the V10 Chinook I could easily pull my boat. or I get the better milage if we went with a lighter "Roadtrek". this will be our 3 rd RV.

I know. and I want one so bad I can taste it....but 10 mpg............... compare it to a wide camper van without the Duelly tires. I bet the average Coachman wide or Pleasureway gets at least...

ok, then I am guessing the Chinook could get by without the "duelly" tires ,,,which would reduce some drag. but surely the DOT has some input into this equation :)

those "older" Chinooks i.e. before the Sprinter copout. have dual rear tires ,,, is it that much heavier. I am reading they only get 10 mpg...ouch .... just love those "ole" Chinook lines... ...
