And there is a single 120v AC “battery charger” used for battery charging when running the van engine or on shore power and a solar controller would connect directly to the battery bank as usual?

So, when the van engine is not running, the battery bank provides the DC power to the inverter instead of it being powered from the axial flux generator and there is no separate inverter used when...
