The nice thing about a macerator pump for me is the ability to move sewage uphill. For a van that is low to the ground, this sure beats "walking" the stuff in the pipes.

I never thought of this, and this is something quite worth noting, because I was looking at having a macerator pump installed. Guess I'll stay with a portable unit.

The last time I saw an air suspension system that good was a Lincoln Town Car I leased for a period of time back in the late 1990s.

That is a good point. I wonder if the jump to 24 feet from 22 feet is as big as the jump from 20 feet to 22 feet.

This has been an awesome read and a great journey in seeing what took shape.
For me, the three things I am impressed with is the Silverleaf EMS, the desk for the driver's seat, and (don't laugh)...

I was told that real wood is nice... but laminates/plywood (assuming it is properly bonded) tend to be more durable and lighter. Same reason why Corian tends to be more useful than genuine marble...

I like the foil insulation in the wheel wells. It is a relatively small thing, but it can make a lot of difference.
