The replacement converter/charger arrived yesterday and I installed it today. It was easy to do:
Unplug from AC grid power.
Disconnect DC power to the converter/charger.
Remove one screw and take...

They had rolls of it but the 0 (1/0) gauge was the largest gauge in stock. The 1 foot length was what I wanted.
