Re: Roadtrek Zion - Promaster based Class B Motorhome

I don't recall ever seeing a sliding screen on a Roadtrek before. I wonder if they used Dan's ( https://www.classbforum.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=3448&p=25328&#p25086 ) or developed one in...

Re: Roadtrek Zion - Promaster based Class B Motorhome

A 22" bed should work OK. It's a bit narrower than typical twin beds in a Class B but it would be basically the same as sleeping on a sofa at home.

Re: Roadtrek Zion - Promaster based Class B Motorhome

I hardly remember it, sorry :( It seemed ok to me. I just wanted to have a quick look to get an impression of the Zion and overall it was positive.

Re: Roadtrek Zion - Promaster based Class B Motorhome

I got to see a Zion last week at Fretz RV. It was just a quick visit. They have two I think. The rental unit was out on rental but they had a white unit (white interior / white exterior) just...

Re: Roadtrek Zion - Promaster based Class B Motorhome

No, I wasn't referring to the 1/4 tank cutoff used with traditional gensets. I don't think the engine generator units have that. The van manufacturers ( Ram, Ford, Mercedes) will publish guidelines...

Re: Roadtrek Zion - Promaster based Class B Motorhome

Yes you can run the microwave oven and yes you can run the air conditioner. The difference - in practical terms - is the length of time you could or would idle the engine versus running a...

Re: Roadtrek Zion - Promaster based Class B Motorhome

Nice find Gerry

Shore power inlet and city water inlet appear to be on the rear of the van below the height of the bumper. The price sheet has "rental" written on it I think so maybe a...

Re: Roadtrek Zion - Promaster based Class B Motorhome

Are there any Roadtrek Zions on dealer lots? It would be nice to see some photos of final production units on dealer lots.

Here's the photo from the other topic:

I had commented that it looks like a Girard water heater. I thought it best to move it here to the general RT Zion topic. The order of the posts got a...

Re: Roadtrek Zion - Promaster based Class B Motorhome

Maybe I should have said under-estimate. Meaning that I wouldn't be surprised to see greater OCCC on some Zion stickers.

Re: Roadtrek Zion - Promaster based Class B Motorhome

I think we'll have to wait until someone posts the sticker info and options included in the build from a Zion to get a better idea. I can't help but think the 1250 is an across-the-board estimate at...

Re: Roadtrek Zion - Promaster based Class B Motorhome

If you are running a winch or other similar high current draw item
The Lifeline will run a Fantastic Fan longer. It depends on what you are using the battery for.

Re: Roadtrek Zion - Promaster based Class B Motorhome

Gerry will know for sure but I think you can sleep either way.

Some updates I noticed:

- no 1/4 round trim at sofa base end
- TV on passenger side - should be easier to see from driver's seat...
