For the majority, no doubt that price is too...

As a long term devotee of the compressed air technique, I realize that for the air system to work, you have to have a reliable low point drain. In my prior Winnie, it was very easy to use the...

Well done there, Davydd. Obviously you learned a lot from 2 prior rigs. I sure wish my space back there in the CS was more functional.

You might have mentioned it, but what about the operating temperatures in that LiIon battery bank? That's what got Boeing into trouble, and a fancy enclosure is not going to be the answer if the...

Re: Advancing Alvar

Jolly nice, Davydd! I like the lift off panels over the storage at the back.

Re: Advancing Alvar

Maybe Mikes47 and Davydd will get owner manuals reflecting what is actually in their rig, instead of the random bits of documentation that came with my RT. (Often manuals for devices not installed,...

Years back I had an architect custom design a house for us. He often said clients were in the "whynot" mode. As in "Why Not...

Re: Advancing Alvar

Gerry51 -- great find. I spent all morning searching for this, found the ZLPower website with some specs, but no manual. Looks like your link #3 is what I need. You are a web-savant!

Re: Advancing Alvar

Davydd:

Question for you and your custom-built Alvar Alta. Do you know what brand of inverter-charger you will be getting?
On my new CS it's taken me forever to discover the brand -- and I don't...

Re: Advancing Alvar

You can find a scenario where any RV configuration is less than ideal. You have to find the rig/setup that best suits what you want to do. In my case, we don't park up boondocked for days on end....

Re: Advancing Alvar

I think Davydd has it pretty right. In our diesel pusher Class A we seldom use the generator, except to exercise it. Likewise, we don't seem to go to a lot of places that require long periods of a/c...
