I have two of the fiberglass cylinders. They are very nice to have, as you can see the fluid level inside, plus the light weight.

Mine have been in service since 2011, so I'm not too worried...

Funny you all are arguing about such measly amounts of insulation. R6 is hardly noticeable.

Travel with the weather, and not against it, and it's not a problem. Properly sized HVAC and a heater...

Depends on the AC unit.

My new Dometic is 13k btu air condition and believe it has a soft start built in. I was able to run it on a 2000 watt Yamaha portable generator. So it must be under 9-10...
