Exactly. So IPhones and IPOD Touches won't help me much, being Canadian.I guess I'll just stick with my laptop (as good as the IPod Touch for wifi access) and the BP et al free wifi hotspots for now,...

It does sound like a lot of stuff to carry, but I'd like the flexibility of having it available. For the most part, the OTA reception is good enough for us, however I've found that I depend on 24...

If it were just me, I'd probably go the iPhone or Blackberry route. Although there's only 1 GSM ISP in Canada, so I'd have to pay whatever they decided was fair, and I already know...

Absolutely. I understand your reasons for subscribing to AT&T to increase the number of places you can get wifi access. I wish I could subscribe too, but I don't think it's possible...

Sounds great. I hope it is truly free wifi. We saw signs last year about "free wifi" access at Starbucks, but we quickly realized that if we weren't subscribed to AT&T, or didn't have a Starbucks...
