20/20 hindsight. At the time, they were state of the art. Just about everyone used them.


That may be true, but as mentioned, there may be other ways they can ruin your expensive battery...

The OP stated the batteries were "dry", which I took to mean no electrolyte, exposed plates, not just discharged, so they are likely toast based on some further research from another forum that...
