Default 90 Leisure Van - water leak

My 1990 Leisure Travel van has a water leak in the little "roof window" (what do you call these windows anyway?) on the driver side. I suppose I should pull out the window and install a new seal kit? Rather than try to caulk it?

We call them skylights. Sounds more "posh".
I would go with whatever works the best, is easiest, and costs the least, in that order.
One thing that gets mentioned often, is to try to prevent moisture from permeating the
outer shell, and getting into the walls of the van (rust/mould?). If replacing the window seals
would accomplish that, I'd go with replace over caulk, unless the damage is already done.
If there's any doubt, consult an RV specialist, maybe start with the manufacturer, and
see what they would recommend. Or google your question, and see if anyone else has dealt
with this, on another forum.

Good luck.
