Default 2012 Roadtrek Popular 190 (Chevy) for sale

We bought this Roadtrek 4 years ago with about 25k miles, we put 20k on traveling from Florida to Texas, Utah, Ontario and base it in NC. For us, it is ideal. Easy to drive, park, and maintain. We did find several things that have 5-6 year life so replaced water pump, macerator, tires, solenoid of inverter, and control panel of refrigerator. All in the past 15 months so it is in great shape now
The generator was working off and on. I took it to Cummins and they said discontinued model so no parts and $4,000 to replace! We used it to run the coffee maker when stopped for lunch so....no deal. We stopped bookdocking (it is not an off road vehicle) and even then, the generator was noisy and heated the rear bed that it is mounted below. The parks restrict their use, so honestly, they are just a hassle. You have to run them every month even if you don't use them. The Roadtrek is well insulated and we would nap after lunch in 80 degree + weather with just the Fantastic Fan, no problem.
I am a retired professor living in Bali so we have only been able to use it once or twice a year for 4-6 week trips. It stays with my daughter but they have rarely used it so we can't justify it anymore.
This is a two person vehicle, though you can legally drive with 5 (3 seatbelts on back sofa). So you can bring tent campers along but it sleeps two. The bed is great, larger than most of the small Class C beds...almost a true king. The propane is really efficient. It keeps the refrigerator really cold while driving, drives the furnace, stove, and water heater....but we go a month on one fill.
The 6.0 V8 is great, we never towed anything but got 17,16,15mpg driving 65,70,75mph. If you use it as a second vehicle in town probably half that...but we drove through the West Virginia mountains several times going to Canada and it handles them with ease. In Colorado and a couple other places with steep grades, the manual paddle shifter was great to save the brakes from over heating. This is all on 89 regular gasoline.
I would be happy to answer questions or correspond by email at drtomiverson@gmail.com.
