Default 2017 Roadtrek ETrek all Electric and Diesel

Unusual 2017 Roadtrek ETrek class B with lots of extras. This rig is easy to drive and amazing for camping without a hookup, but still has all the hookup features you might want. $99,999

Built on 2016 Mercedes Benz Sprinter 3.0 liter V6 diesel, 4wd with low range, LWB extended 3500 dual real wheel van. 52216 miles as of this posting.
Currently sleeps 2. Two more single beds could be configured using the front seats; the bed parts are an option, not included with this rig, but could be purchased or built.
7 seatbelted riding positions including driver.
All electric and diesel; no propane.
Almost entire roof is solar panels; I don’t have the exact power rating but its about twice what a standard ETrek carries.
Second under-hood generator runs off engine, charges house batteries
Remote/auto start can be set to start motor and run for half an hour if house battery voltage drops below threshold; switch on the dash overrides this.
800 Ah Lithium batteries in 4 banks.
Two, 2000 W inverters. One serves as shore power charger for house batteries.
Twist lock main shore power connection has been replaced with Smartplug, much easier to use. SmartPlug Shore Power Connections | what is a smartplug
Split 12V AC with compressors mounted underneath.
Single position induction cook top.
Microwave.
12V compressor operated Norcold fridge.
LED lighting.
Water and space heat uses an Espar diesel burner fueled from the main fuel tank. This system should also be able to pre-heat, or be heated by, the engine coolant. This provides heat to an Alde in-floor radiant heat system and hot water heater. The Alde also has electric elements; can run off a 10ga extension cord at low power or a 30 amp cord at high power. Hot water tank has a freeze-guard feature; will throw a spring loaded safety valve and dump the water heater contents onto the ground under the van if it gets close to freezing..
Galley sink with regular water taps that fold down under glass cover, and counter mounted instant hot (120VAC) and cold filtered water. Standard cartridge filter under sink.
Wet bath. Extra long shower hose can reach outside the big side door.
Roof vent with rain-sensing thermostat controlled fantastic fan.
Rear area includes seating for 4 (reasonable) around table (more than 4 if they're small and/or friendly). With table stowed, rear bench powers down flat into two single or one queen bed. There is a shelf above the bed, useful for cell phones and pocket contents, and each side has a 12V plug, a USB-A charge plug, and a dual-AC outlet, so you don’t have to fight over who gets to charge their phone.
4 swivel captains chairs up front, can be arranged around a second table.
Factory option for turning front seats into two single beds is not included but could be purchased or rigged up
Reasonable sized fresh, black, and grey water tanks. Fresh tank has easy to reach drain valve, fills with hose inside passenger door pillar.
Black and grey empty via self contained undermounted hose with power macerator.
Power awning on passenger/curb side.
Storage cabinets around upper part of house section. Hanging clothes cabinet. Drawers in galley area. Lots of space behind bed/back seat. Comes with a rack for 4 sets of golf clubs.
Concealed power drop-down rear storage cabinet with concealed switch.
Zip-in bug screens for the back doors and the side door, so you can sleep with those doors open and still keep bugs out.
Flat panel TV, DVD player, cable hookup.
3-camera VanTrue dashcam system with GPS. Camera unit facing forward with second camera facing inside, third camera mounted rear facing inside driver’s side rear door glass.
Semi-permanently installed 110 AC Battery Tender Charger/conditioner so you can plug in the starter battery if it is going to sit for a while.
Near new 215-85R16E Cooper all terrains on Alcoa alloy rims. Full sized under mounted spare.
Just changed the oil, oil filter, and fuel filter.

some weird extras:
Antennae for a cell booster and a WiFi booster. As far as I can tell, the actual electronics for these units are not installed anywhere, but the cables do run inside.

Located in SW Colorado / Durango area. Email is the best way to contact me.

Is this one of the 2013~2019 E-treks subject to the seatbelt recall ?
( falsified test certifications)

And were the seatbelts removed and remedied ?

"You are strongly advised by the receiver not to allow any passengers to sit in the second-row seats while the vehicle is operating," reads a warning in bold type at the bottom of a letter sent to vehicle owners on Jan. 9 from court-appointed receiver Alvarez and Marsal Canada Inc.

One of my Pals got caught up in this and they were never able to get it solved-

I never received a recall notice. Just called Van City in Colorado Springs; they say there are no open recalls under the VIN. It did have an airbag recall, but that was done.
