Default wanted- roadtrek chevy propane tank

my propane tank has a leak, looking for a good used one. mine happens to be a 2007 popular, but i think all Chevy propane tanks are the same from 2000 on.

A friend in Canada got a tank for his 2007 210 through his local RV shop. Unfortunately, he was told that Manchester (the tank maker) told the supplier that they are no longer making that tank because it is vehicle specific. Not sure what that means, but since the Chevy Roadtreks have not been made for many years then perhaps Manchester doesn't see the market to warrant making them.

I came across this smaller tank that looks like it has the correct mounting flanges. Consider contacting them for more info or the possiblility of the larger tank being available.

Thanks Peteco. I've already looked at those and various other options. Hoping to find someone getting rid of the tank.

*I'd consider new, but not for $1800 CAD!!!

Still looking!!!

I can't recall ever seeing anyone that found a used tank for a Roadtrek as by the time they get scrapped most are probably as bad as yours unless in a major wreck and being parted out.

There have been users here that found tanks that were close and adapted the hangers and plumbing to match without a huge amount of issue.

The fill rules are also getting tighter some places. The U Haul store I use takes pic of every tank before they will fill it, and the tech said that if it has been painted they have to take and even closer looks. CYA insurance and against a leaky tank and lawsuit, I think.
