Default Going to the Sun Road, Glacier NP

RVs are not allowed on the Going to the Sun Road (over Logan Pass) through Glacier National Park UNLESS they are: less than 8' wide (including mirrors), 10' high, and 21' long. My 2008 Pleasure-Way Ascent fits neatly into that box,and the drive was stunning. Only a Class B could do that, and it is well worth the drive. If you're a hiker, a diner, or a picture-taker, this is the place for you. I made it while taking in Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse memorial, Deadwood (Wild Bill's grave), and Devils Tower on the way -- Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons on the way back. Great tour, incredible scenery. I have many photos, but can't upload them, for some reason.

It's convenient that many Class B's can go on the Going to the Sun Road in Glacier NP. My 22' B+ wouldn't have been allowed.

I'd have liked to see your photos. I suspect the size of them is the problem. You could try our photo gallery:

Or email some to me and I'll post them.

I've been trying to get some photos loaded in the Photo Gallery. Managed to load 11 into Users Gallery>Viking. It is trying to get the photos compressed, but Photoshop does a good job once you figure it out. But, I have to segregate the compressed photos and it gets a bit tedious. But, check out what I have and I'm up for any recommendations for making it easier or adding more stuff.

Yes, it can be tedious.

This is a great photo:

Here's how I handle photos for the web:

1. Download them from my camera
2. Copy all of the photos into a new folder
3. Batch or global resize all photos in the new folder to 640x480 or 800x600. In most programs it's like edit -> select all -> resize.

I resize the copies not the originals

That's a good idea. I use a Mac with Photoshop CS3 software. I can batch re-size Bridge under Tools, Photoshop, Image processing -- where I can input the size and quality of the image. I reckon I'll do like you do and resize duplicate photos and save them to a separate folder for uploading. It took some time, but I finally figured out how to create an album. Now, that's for the Photo Gallery -- I'll have to work on uploading photos in commentary.
