Default Pacific Rim National Park Reserve of Canada

http://www.pc.gc.ca/pn-np/bc/pacificrim/index_e.asp

We just got back from a one week trip. We camped at Green Point Campground in Pacific Rim National Park on Vancouver Island for 5 nights. We go there every year. I think there is 14 miles of beach.

No hookups.

Can you see the fish?

Mussels!

Barnacles!

Beatiful pics, thanks for sharing. I just love the PNW, sure wish we had time to get up there this year. Oh well... maybe next year.

July is probably the best month to visit Pacific Rim National Park if you prefer sun. August is sometimes called Faugust (fog)

We've had good weather the three trips we've made in September. We went once in March and it never stopped raining.

Another year has passed...

We just got back from a week at Green Point Campground in Pacific Rim National Park.

We really enjoy it there. You can walk on the beach for hours in either direction. We rode our bicycles on the beach also. That was fun.

Hi Mark,

Those pictures really bring back good times. We spent a week at Green Point campground some years back, and really enjoyed our time there. The cool green, quiet shady campground really contrasted with the raw, wild, misty surf and vast sandy beaches. Here is one of nearly 100 photos I took.

Nice photo Brian. I've been there at least 5 times and never climbed up to where you took that photo. Like you, I have hundreds of photos.

Here are some of my photos taken on our trip there last week.

This guy put on an amazing show with two kites. He could even gently land both of them and then make them take off again.

Hi Mark,

Beautiful pics! Makes me wish I was there right now!! We didn't manage to get out to the west coast this year. Time restraints with work and gas prices made us look at places closer to home. We go to a small lake just outside Jasper Park, called Rock Lake. It's also a beautiful spot. We just got back from a week of camping there.
