Default 2004 pleasure/way 4flat trailer wiring

How would I get to the rear taillight wiring harness on a 2004 pleasure/way lexor RD Chevy 3500. Will I have to remove the upholstery panel on each side to get to the harness I have the curt plug in harness for a 3500 Chevy express van.thanks for any help.

I don’t know anything about the Pleasure Way but I know a little about the Chevy 3500.

The wiring comes from the front, goes up the drivers side rear door post and crosses the top for the passenger side tail lights. On the Roadtrek the upholstery has to come off to give you access to the door post wiring. You could look underneath and see if you can access it from beneath. I could not. Roadtrek placed a Curt electronic module in there that had inputs of the OEM wiring and outputs for four wire trailer wiring.

It appears you already have it.

The fuses are underneath the driver’s seat which is another issue. On the Roadtrek the seat may have to be removed to get the fuse block cover off. Better to not blow any fuses.

many Lexors have a round 7 pin trailer light plug already. you have checked ?


for a flat 4 you need an adapter

Check under behind the axle. I have a 2003 ford chassis, there was a seven prong already there from the factory.

I have a Chevy Lexor, Not sure why you don't just get the adapter?
