Default Battery box venting

I have a 2001 Roadtrek 190. The battery box rusted out on me and I am having 1 fabricated. Did the original battery box have any venting and if so where are they located? Thanks for any help.

Yes, on my 00D190P the corners of the box are open for ventilation

Thank you monster mash. I drilled the cable holes a little larger then needed to add as a vent.

Okay thanks for the picture. My batteries are 5 years old and they're still holding up, how about yours?

Surprised no one has mentioned this but best practices would have the positive and negative cables going to different batteries. IOW move the negative cable to the negative post of the other battery. Not the cables connecting the 2 batteries together but the cables going to the house.
That way when you pull from the battery and also charging you are going through both batteries equally.
