Default Coach batteries removed

Is there a possibility of damaging your inverter/ charger when driving without coach batteries installed, and terminal leads well taped for protection

Remove the coach battery connection from the isolator or separator to be certain.

Otherwise start the engine and and check for 0 volts at the inverter charger. Battery contactor needs to be off.

Thnx for your reply and suggestion. I should have included the details of my rig so that any replies might include one from another owner (no disrespect). I have an ‘07 Chevy express RT190p. No mods

In addition to the above. If you are going to have either generator or shore power hooked up, turn inverter off.
