Sticking to Class Bs, this is Solar Womp built by Advanced RV. It has 1150watts.

That is probably the max out number. I believe Mike Wendland and Campskunk have around 900watts in their beta test EcoTreks.

Solar Womp was built for a single purpose of spending a week in the August Nevada desert at Burning Man. It has some other air conditioning innovations and no windows other than the cab area and sliding door. I think the owner has discussed it here in the past.

Just to give some perspective on how much that is, I put 1280 watts on my bus - IMG_3607.jpg

Wincrasher how are you liking the new bus? Any big trips in it yet? Looking at your photos and other class A's the outside storage and space for system handling is really nice compared to a B.

Lovin' it. Getting ready to head out west soon. Been spending the time doing mods on it - has taken alot longer than I thought, but I like how all of them have gone.

My big lithium battery is coming tomorrow, and I'm very excited to get it installed. Then I will be done with all the planned projects.

I might take a long weekend down to the coast. We having unusually warm weather lately, so it might be an enjoyable trip.

"In series" doesn't mean "panel 1 is connected to panel 2 and panel 2 is connected to panel 3" and so on.

Yes... and the voltage increase with each panel.

The benefit is, with higher voltage configuration you get less energy loss over the same distance than with a high amphere configuration,
and you can use thinner wire (less weight).

The downside is, if one panel is shaded, the overall efficiency dramatically decreases.

For Wynne's case, they chose the series configuration because they are in the desert. ie. no shades.

Some people use a combination of series-parallel to optimize the panels for varies shading situation.

I'm aware of what the terms mean. I'm just saying that if you're going to make a humble-brag video, stick to bragging and don't try to be educational when you're not sure of what you're talikng about.

I did not watch the video, but that is exactly what "in series" means. If the Wynn's said otherwise or wired in parallel and said it was series, the were incorrect, but the description you say is wrong is correct.

I can connect panel one to panel two either in series or in parallel.

So you're now saying they were correct with their educational video when discussing what series meant, and you just said they were wrong because you think they were humble bragging?

I didn't see any bragging in the video but then I just watch their videos for the education so I may have missed it.

Can you connect panel 1 to panel 2, and panel 2 to panel 3 and so in parallel or would that be connected in series?

You can connect as many panels as you want together in series or in parallel.
