Default How to remove/access Onan generator

Guys, How in the heck do you get access/remove the Onan generator (other than the exterior door panel) on an 1989 Xplorer 230xL. You can only get to the front of the damn thing.

I need to make sure my 12V connection and ground is secure but I cant get to it!!!!!.

Pull it most of the way out and look. Sorry. It's still easier than mine underneath the back. I had to drop it to put a new carburetor in it. Yours can be replaced by opening the door.

I dont see how I could pull it forward when the fuel line attaches from behind and also there is a power conduit that goes to the neighboring compartment.

I would assume there would be a bit of slack involved. There is a video on YouTube of a guy taking out a generator from a van, fixing it, bench testing it and re installing it . Wish I knew how I found the video. It's been awhile ago.
