I have found this style to work better than the hand pump types. Old school but very handy, and you can put on a long hose if you need to. You can also use it to put the new oil in. Good for differential oil changes besides, without removing the cover.

Some years back, I found in W/M at FlexNozzle @$.50. It was green, compressed down and could be pulled out and bent like a horseshoe, and fit on top of the quart bottle. I had tried the marine pump, nozzle, etc, but this was the best thing I could have ever found. Ironically, when I sold the '05, I opted to keep the nozzle - welcome home nozzle! Ron

My husband informed me as much... right AFTER I dribbled the oil down his forearm. I asked the obvious question, which is, why didn't you tell me? I didn't get a clear answer. Probably we'll use such a device the next time.

I don't have any book on mine, and I can't fine an owners manual online. The Cummins Onan site is impossibly obtuse. Anyone have a good site to find an owners manual for my genset?

Default Onsn Manual

Unfortunately I am on the road right now so I can't give you the exact URL right now, but I got both the owners manual and the service manual as PDFs online from the Cummins/Onan website. They are availsble at no cost online.

I have a red one like that but watch out, some brands of oil haveca different size spout which won't fit. It does work really well.
