Default storage compartment slide removal

old storage compartment slides broken. Need to remove them. They appear to be welded to a steel plate on the bottom of compartment. How can they be removed?

Welcome to the forum auneg!

Posting your make and model would help those offering advice.

But if the slides are welded on, your only alternative may be to remove them with a grinder. If so, you'll make a shower of sparks like the 4th of July, so make sure your hands, arms, and face are well protected and there is nothing flamable nearby.

Good luck.
