Although used, it may still be under warranty. Do you know if the original in-service date was less than 12 months ago? Have less than 15k miles on the odometer?
Sheesh, I meant the bed on the driver side, which my passenger sleeps in.
Sorry.

Call WGO for detail.
Yes, the recall is for possibly improper torque on wire terminal lugs on the transfer switch. Mine had a few that were too loose.
Under drivers side bed, attached to back wall on my '16 59k.

Thx, I found it on the NHTSA site as nhtsa 16v598000. Unfortunately it only covers Travato's built prior to 22 Apr 16. Not sure when mine was built. Have to check. I'll call WGO on Monday anyway.

There is a label in your door area;
It lists the Chassis built date, RV built date, and the RV model year.

Thx, just looked. Unfortunately, for me, the build date is Jun 16. That's 2 mos after the listed date.

If it is not part of a recall for improperly tightened connectors then that would be fortunate not unfortunate - at least that's the way I'd look at it. I avoid going to an RV dealer for any type of repair. I have little confidence that the job would be done to my satisfaction. That is based on my past experience with RV dealers.

Have you made sure the Onan breaker is in the on position yet?

No, I haven't. Need to get this thing elevated a bit so I can get underneath somewhat comfortably. At 75 I don't roll around on the ground too well anymore. I should have something built by tonight.

I looked at two owner manuals for the new style generators.

The breaker on Eric's would look like this:

newer onan breaker like erics.JPG

This is from an even newer manual:

.

The toggle is deep inside, but within reach.

The one on top is the one I have. Thx! Good to know which way is on. Although the access cover states the model is RV QG2800 the EPA sticker with the Engine Serial Number states it is2.8HGJBB-1120.The MicroLite version bears the same M/n on the access cover but the EPA sticker says it is M/N 2.8KV-FA 2610. Strange!!! Will the real M/N please stand up.

Problem solved thanks to the wisdom and insight of those involved. Finally got the van lifted high enough to get a good feel inside the gen box. It was a tripped circuit breaker. This thing has a hair trigger. I suspect I'll be doing this again.
