What is this wire going to the positive terminal of the DC fuse board?
I was changing out the Magnatek 6900 convert and DC fuse panel for a more modern set up and noticed this ( See attached Images). There is a small gauge wire connected to a larger gauge wire that's directly connected to the positive battery terminal. At first glance this seems less than ideal.
The wire is coming out of the same harness/bundle as all the other DC powered devices in the van, but it's not fused like the rest. I can't really follow it back without removing the wrapping and plastic that all the other wires are in so I have no idea what it's powering.
Not a clue. I would see if it goes into the wiring harness of if it was a wire someone added. If it was something that was added you should have place to add it to a fused connection when you upgrade or I would add an inline fuse.
