Took out the big TV
I really liked Burlmart's 2005 Trail-Lite 213 B+ TV Cabinet Modification
http://classbforum.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=509
Here's what the 23" TV looked like:
It was kind of nice to have but would have drawn a lot of current from my battery using an inverter and it's heavy.
So I decided to pull it out and put two doors. I made the doors out of pine but stained them to match the imitation oak.
There's lots of space behind there:
I put the bolster from the sofa in to give an idea of the size:
I'm going to mount a 19" LCD TV where it'll be comfortable to view from the sofa.
That mount was left in the RV by the previous owner. He used it for a PC monitor. I'll have to move it up a bit.

The project is finished:
I added a small inverter to run the entertainment system when dry camping.

your work looks great and i'd kill for storage like that!
some TV's are available are DC native- that means less total power consumption
the samsung 22" in the van is DC native as is the samsung 32" in our guest room ( which uses a transformer brick)
