First step is check vehicle with RIV.Ca for admissibility. 2 Purchase vehicle. 3 Give customs 48 hours notice 4 Pay duties and gst on entry (duty would be applicable for any non US manufactured RV [ie early Dodge Sprinters were manufactured in Germany and there is duty added plus gst when importing to Canada]. 5 Get safety inspection completed at local Canadian tire where they will stamp form from border that allows you to register in your province.
